The Spain, Canada, and United States leg of our #25th Anniversary World Tour has come to a close after three intensive weeks on the road and on the planes. This tour offered the opportunity to present a diverse repertoire, from the sublime Schubert Quintet with our brother in arts, Eckart Runge to the complex Bartók’s Quartet No. 4.
The tour brought the quartet to prestigious stages across vibrant cities, including Burgos, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Palma de Majorca, Toronto, Ashland, Neskowin, New York, Syracuse, and Bucknell. Each city offered its own unique atmosphere, enriching our experience and deepening our connection with audiences.
Coinciding with the tour was the release of Bach’s Art of Fugue, our latest album with Orchid Classics. This recording reinterprets Bach’s masterpiece with a unique ensemble of eight instruments, including the viola and tenor viola, to bring new tonal richness to each counterpoint. It’s a project that celebrates our 25 years together, and now available on all platforms.
As we complete this leg of our tour, we’re pleased to share that we will be returning to the United States in April!
