Standing Ovation At Lincoln Center

After almost a month, the Quartetto di Cremona looks back with joy and pride to one of the most prestigious and significant moments of its twenty-year career: the debut at the Chamber Music Society of The Lincoln Center in New York. The performance, held at the Alice Tully Hall, impressed the audience: at the end of the concert, long applause, several curtain calls and a standing ovation. There were also many enthusiastic reviews from the critics:
<< The playing was marked by admirable unanimity and blend […] an evening full of splendid music-making.>> Classical Source
<< This Italian group founded some 20 years ago, at the present time and in the opinion of many, carries the mantle of its legendary masters, the Quartetto Italiano which disbanded decades ago >>Concertonet.
